Hi, I’m Irfan, the person behind every review, guide and comparison on Streamly Codex.

I test streaming devices for a living. As an OTT app developer, I build streaming apps for Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung and LG, which means I spend every working day inside these platforms: their interfaces, their app stores, their quirks, and the exact points where they frustrate real viewers. When I review a device, I’m not reading a spec sheet. I’m telling you what months of daily use actually feels like.

That experience is why I started Streamly Codex. Almost every streaming guide online is written for American buyers, but viewers in the UK and Europe face different prices, different apps and different problems, like Roku’s region restrictions or which channels actually work here. This site exists to give European viewers advice that actually applies to them.

My track record: I’m a Top Rated developer with a 100% job success score across more than 16 streaming projects. Streaming technology isn’t a side topic for me, it’s my full-time work.

How I review: every device covered here is tested hands-on in a real home setup. If something doesn’t work in Europe, I say so plainly. I don’t do paid placements, and when a cheaper device does the job just as well as an expensive one, you’ll read that here first.
